ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
My style of therapy/coaching is heart-centered & grounded in values of open-mindedness, authenticity, creativity, presence, and compassion. And it’s also kink, queer, trans, monogamy, poly, open relationship, RA, neurodivergent, and quirk friendly. While I’ve enjoyed being non-monogamous myself for over a decade I also have many positive models of monogamy in my life. I firmly believe that relationships of all kinds can be healthy if they’re nourished with intention, mindful communication, sincerity, and mutual care. In my therapy and coaching work I integrate a wide range of approaches to help my clients create healthy relationships that are uniquely designed in consideration of the needs of the individuals involved. Some of the methods I use are Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic, Existential, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt, Family Systems, & Solution-focused.
I also go beyond traditional practices to incorporate expressive arts, movement, adventure, connection with non-human animals, presence with nature, and community building practices into my work. I’m passionate about sharing tools that can help others experience secure relationships both in their romantic/sexual partnerships and in their communities more broadly. When people lack clarity about the path of loving they most truly desire, I guide curious identity exploration to support them in discovering what types of relationships feel the most right for them. If you desire nontraditional relationships, have differing preferences in regards to monogamy in existing partnerships, have fears/insecurities that are leading to conflicts, or could just use some relationship support to optimally thrive I would be honored to support you! There are effective strategies out there for building healthy, out-of-the- box relationships…and I have the skills & experience to help guide you in putting them into action.
